As a child, I remember wandering through the fields of Bethlehem, surrounded by the intoxicating scent of wild narcissus flowers. Their vibrant beauty wasn’t just part of the landscape — it became part of my earliest memories.
Over the years, those lush fields have slowly disappeared, replaced by concrete and construction. As an artist, I felt compelled to bring these beloved flowers back to life, not only in memory, but in a tangible form.
